The need of school librarians in California is dire
Below is a link to my analysis essay of an article by S.E. Williams entitled “The status of school libraries in California – ‘it’s an issue of inequality'”. The overview of my analysis demonstrates the sentiment of Williams. That school libraries in California are severely underfunded and if the achievement gap is to truly close in California proper funding and staffing must be given to out public school libraries.
